CFIC Executive Director among industry execs who participated in grocery industry fly-in

FMI, in concert with the National Grocers Association and the Food Industry Executives Association, held its annual Day in Washington congressional fly-in this week. The government relations team hosted supermarket executives from more than 30 states. The purpose of the fly-in was for food retailers to meet with their members of Congress in order to put a face — and a story — to the business challenges surrounding health care, tax reform, swipe fees and labeling issues.
