Membership Overview

Suppliers play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of CFIC’s retailers. When vendors join CFIC, they are connected to retailers and wholesalers doing business throughout North and South Carolina. Support from CFIC’s vendor members is critical to ensuring that the retail grocery industry’s voice is heard in the states’ legislatures and regulatory agencies. Active participation in CFIC events by retailers and wholesalers provides valuable networking opportunities for our supplier members. CFIC is committed to promoting and strengthening the food industry through a variety of services offered to our Associate members.

    Membership Options—At CFIC we recognize that one size does not fit all, therefore CFIC offers three membership options for you to choose from.

    The Limited Membership is designed for companies that simply want to maintain membership in the years in which they cannot attend events or stay engaged and current with the ever-changing policies that impact the grocery industry.

    The Essential Membership includes all of the same benefits of the Limited Membership plus allows for limited participation in CFIC members-only events. This level is perfect for small manufacturers.

    The Corporate Membership allows a company to send an unlimited number of company reps to CFIC events (registration rates apply) as well as all of the benefits included in the Limited Membership.

Since 2004 the Carolinas Food Industry Council (CFIC) has served as the voice of the grocery industry in both North and South Carolina. Headquartered in Raleigh, the Council serves more than 2,500 grocers in the Carolinas and has staff in both states. When grocers join CFIC, they’re making one of the best investments a grocery retailer, supplier, broker or wholesaler can make.

  2. CFIC provides resources to ensure you are in compliance with old and new laws.
