The Carolinas Food Industry Council Convention is the premier regional grocery industry event attracting 1,000 retail grocers, wholesalers, brokers, and manufacturers from both North and South Carolina.  The schedule is filled with plenty of educational and legislative sessions, retailer/vendor meetings, presentations from retail presidents, and fun social events. The beach venue provides the perfect opportunity to build personal relationships in a relaxed setting.

The CFIC Convention continues to be a top notch industry event that members look forward to every year.  Take a look at photos from our past conventions to see how the CFIC Convention has grown for all doing business within the Carolinas.

The CFIC Convention is more than an industry event, it’s an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share ideas, and build relationships that help drive our business forward in the Carolinas. Bringing together leaders from across the grocery industry in one location creates tremendous value for both retailers and suppliers. I encourage all of our supplier partners to attend and take full advantage of this outstanding networking opportunity.

“The Carolinas Food Industry Council (CFIC) Convention provides our category teams the opportunity to meet with numerous suppliers, wholesalers and brokers over the course of a few days.  This event serves as the platform for personal time with our business partners to plan, strategize and further develop relationships. In addition, we greatly value the networking as well as social events, and look forward to the convention each year.”

“This years’ Convention turned out to be extremely productive for our Acosta team, as we were able to conduct several meetings with many key retailers. Additionally, this venue afforded the opportunity for our clients to be engaged with senior management in those key retailers. The ability for delegates to be able to conduct business, while being able to get in a little “R & R” with their families, is unique in our industry.”
