federal issues

Not only does CFIC’s staff track grocery issues at the state level, but we also work closely with the national associations listed below to monitor and engage on federal issues that will impact store operations.

While these organizations are similar in membership and function, each offers its own benefit. Therefore CFIC encourages its members to also join the national associations most relevant to their business.

FMI – The Food Industry Association

As the food industry association, FMI works with and on behalf of the entire industry to advance a safer, healthier and more efficient consumer food supply chain.
